Fascia & Soffit Boards

Fascia boards are often overlooked as merely a piece of wood behind the guttering,. However, a fascia board plays a very important part being the structural timber and needs to be in tip top condition and rot free!

Fascia boards not only support the weight of the guttering when full of water, but also hold the eaves, tiles and front row of tiles - thats a lot of weight!

Fascia boards normally rot from the top, out of sight from ground level, grabbing your attention after the guttering falls away from the fascia an/or vermin enter into roof space. If the fascia is left further to rot, this will eventually spread to the roofing support timbers. Fascia boards are relatively inexpensive to replace and most people prefer the UPVC, but we can replace in timber if required.

As we are a specialist guttering and roofline company, and we aware of the important role of a fascia board, we only replace with a full 18mm thick board generally the same as existing.

We never put thin boards up and never cap over your existing fascia boards.
